The short version. It is a puzzle game. Play it, enjoy it, and if you buy the unlock it is yours. I make no promises it will never crash, and I cannot be held liable if it does.
Using the game
You may install and play Square Swaps on devices you own or control, for as long as you like. The game, its artwork, its sounds and its name belong to me; you are given permission to play it, not ownership of it. Please do not decompile it, resell it, or pass off its artwork as your own.
Purchases
The unlock is a one-time purchase, handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. It applies to the store account that bought it and can be restored on any device signed in to that account.
Refunds are the store's to give, under their rules — Apple and Google both have their own refund processes, and I have no ability to charge you or refund you directly. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to me and I will help you sort it out with them.
What the unlock includes may grow over time. It will not shrink: anything covered when you bought it stays covered.
Advertisements
The free version shows occasional ads. I choose how often they appear but not what they contain — that is Google's. If you see an ad that is broken, deceptive or offensive, tell me and I will report it, and you can also report it through the ad itself.
Availability
The game is offered as it is. I will fix what I can, but I cannot promise it will be free of faults, that it will run on every device, or that it will remain available forever. If it is ever withdrawn, anything already installed keeps working, and anything already purchased stays unlocked on your device.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from playing the game — including lost progress, lost time, or a device that misbehaves while it is running. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes
These terms may change as the game does. The date at the top says when they last did.
